Its almost been a year since they “released to public” yet there is a big section missing in the middle east…

If the NGA actually cared about the Ebola Crisis in Africa they would respond to e-mails/ FOIAs about questions the public, and other governement agencies (yes, they actually do not respond to people from the USGS, DOI, STATE DEPT, ETC.) have about the data they are supplying. Instead, they don’t know how to use the reply button in their e-mail software. They also deny all FOIAs.
Thanks for nothing…
Why won’t the NGA finish the SRTM-1 Delivery to the USGS?
I filed a FOIA with the NGA to get the data, they denied it. I appealed; they told me to talk to the DOI. The DOI told me to talk to the USGS. The USGS told me to ask the NGA…
Makes sense, right?

NGA statement on White House drone incident
January 27, 2015
SPRINGFIELD, Va. — An employee with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency was questioned yesterday by the Secret Service as the operator of the drone involved in Monday’s incident at the White House.
The employee self-reported the incident Monday. The employee was off duty and is not involved in work related to drones or unmanned aerial vehicles in any capacity at NGA.
Even though the employee was using a personal item while off duty, the agency takes the incident very seriously and remains committed to promoting public trust and transparency.
The Secret Service is currently investigating the incident.
