I’m planing on creating something dumb. A global dataset of urban areas, names, populations, globally. I know there is OSM, geonames, wikidata, and tons of other projects like this, but this will ideally only focus on settlement/city locations, their names, and their populations. I choose Guinea randomly and began to run analysis to score urban areas. I need to back apply names and populations. Please give feedback on data. Thank you for any/ all feedback!
