Trip To DC
I had an amazing opportunity to meet with members of the U.S. State Department’s INR/GGI Office of the Geographer and the HIU (Humanitarian Information Unit). Spending two days meeting with different people from their teams and collaborating was a Geonerds dream come true. I looked at hundreds of maps, saw wild and bizarre border disputes, and heard some of the most fascinating stories about how GIS truly changes peoples lives.
